General
Each of the dive sites listed makes the assumption that you are starting from the corner of PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) and Broadway at the main beach area in Laguna Beach. These instructions are provided as general instruction on how to get to PCH and Broadway from several major roadways. These instruction are not meant to replace a map but more as an addition to a map. Use one of the many on line map sites and enter Laguna Beach to get a general map of the area. Please familiarize yourself with the map and any instructions before your trip to make the journey a more pleasant one.

5 Fwy

From the 5 freeway: Going south if you are coming from Los Angeles or from any north Orange County city. Going north if you are coming from San Diego or from any south Orange County city. Get off the freeway at the 133 South, if you accidentally go north you will have gotten onto a toll road and once you get on the ramp the only way to get off is to pay the toll! Going south on the 5 the exit just before the 133 is Sand Canyon. Going north on the 5 the exit just before the 133 is Alton. Follow the 133 south through Laguna Canyon (please turn your headlights on, even during the day, for safety) where the road winds around through the hills. You will pass through the outskirts of Laguna Beach and the road turns into Broadway. Continue traveling until you come to Pacific Coast Highway, you will have to turn left or right at this point (unless you plan on driving into the water). From this point all of the dive sites are within 5 minutes. Now go to the specific dive site that is of interest and follow the directions to get to that site.

PCH

To get to Laguna Beach on Pacific Coast Highway just follow the road! If you are south of Laguna Beach then go north on PCH. If you are north of Laguna Beach the go south on PCH. Pacific Coast Highway runs straight through Laguna Beach. If you are in one of the "beach" cities (Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Dana Point, and others) this is a very scenic way to go.
